MID PENN BANK

Mid Penn Bank, based out of Millersburg, PA wanted to create a new prototype branch design that would blend well with the conservative and rural settings of its clientele.

CHALLENGES:

  • Create a unique bank experience, while maintaining rural architectural design elements

  • Minimize size and construction costs

  • Create a design that can be adaptive and expanded depending upon future branch needs

SOLUTIONS:

  • Use of rural architectural elements such has steep sloping roofs, exterior stone, extensive interior oak millwork, and a unique elliptical lobby teller layout with terrazzo flooring

  • 2,400 square feet; $235 per square foot
An upper level or an add-on wing can easily be added to the building for additional office and teller space
